The “Dog-gone” most fun event of Winter Carnival! Bring Fido or Fluffie, all size dogs welcome!

11:30 am to 1:00 pm
Register at the event—No pre-registration necessary
Fee:
$10 to benefit MCPAWS Regional Animal Shelter.
Prizes
Will be awarded as soon as the last dog races.
Your dog will be harnessed to a sled which is about the same weight as the dog and race a distance of about 25 feet. You may coax the dog with commands or treats at the finish line. There are 6 weight classes and prizes for each class. It is great fun and very entertaining so come to watch even if you don’t bring your dog.
Weight Classes:
- Class 1 0-20 lbs (pulling 10 lbs)
- Class 2 21-40 lbs pulling 30 lbs)
- Class 3 41-60 lbs (pulling 50 lbs)
- Class 4 61-80 lbs (pulling 70 lbs)
- Class 5 81-100 lbs (pulling 90 lbs)
- Class 6 over 100 lbs (pulling 125 lbs)
